Exterior wall details
The exterior walls are 12" consisting of 1/2" sheathing, covered with Tyvek wrap. 2 x 6" stud cavity is insulated with 6" fiberglas, covered with 1" styrofoam. Next is a 1" air space and following that, a 2 x 4 wall insulated with 3 1/2" fiberglas. All the electrical runs through the inside wall, avoiding any holes for wiring in the outside wall. Inside of 2 x 4 wall is covered by 1/2" sheetrock. (Sunporch and garage wall are 6")
